A complete overhaul was carried out on both engines. The engines were disassembled and reassembled in the engine room to avoid opening the vessel’s hull.

A QL3 overhaul was performed on all three engines, including the removal of pistons and cylinder liners. New cylinder liners, cylinder heads, and fuel injectors were installed on the engines.
